Description Objective:
Develop a centralized Employee Resource Hub personnel to access internal resources, forms, news, and events.
Modernize and consolidate internal communications using SharePoint Online.
Ensure cybersecurity, accessibility, and records compliance with state standards.
Deliver a scalable, sustainable intranet solution with admin training for long-term management.
Collaborate with the Department of Administration to align with M365 shared service requirements.
Scope of Work / Key Deliverables:
Design and develop a visually cohesive, ADA-compliant, mobile-responsive SharePoint intranet.
Configure SharePoint site collections and subsites for each division with consistent branding.
Implement search, analytics, polls, and feedback functionality.
Enable multimedia support (video, audio, image, document uploads).
Provide admin access and permissions by division for content management.
Ensure Clienture AD authentication, single sign-on, and compliance with state cybersecurity policies.
Conduct testing, UAT, and documentation prior to go-live.
Deliver training and post-launch support for administrators and users.
Responsibilities:
Oversee project execution and approve key deliverables.
Conduct stakeholder interviews, content evaluation, and feedback sessions.
Ensure project alignment with organizational policies and frameworks.
Design site architecture and develop SharePoint workflows, sites, and pages.
Translate business requirements into technical SharePoint solutions.
Implement and maintain security, governance, and compliance controls.
Provide technical documentation and train end users on SharePoint functionality.
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance to ensure stability.
Required Skills:
5+ years of SharePoint Online / M365 development experience.
Expertise in SharePoint customization, workflows, and Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps).
Strong understanding of Clienture AD, security compliance, and governance.
Experience leading intranet or internal portal projects.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
Power BI, HTML/CSS, JavaScript.
Experience with state or government IT environments.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
