Program Manager Tech 5 Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Program Manager Tech for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be a year with a strong chance for a long-term extension. Position Summary: Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Understand, communicate, and provide project information to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing projects and delivery performance, focusing on tangible outcomes, and high-quality deliverables.
- Managing multiple projects end-to-end using the appropriate project management framework and methodology.
- Guiding cross-team and third-party partnerships - influencing without authority and using the power of diverse teams.
- Applying project management standards, compliance, and best practices to ensure successful delivery of programs on scope, on schedule, and on budget.
- Being on top of any commercial aspects of your project, driving financial integrity.
- Mentoring other team members as you share your knowledge and experience.
- Implement onboarding process for new hires.
Typical Day in the Role
- Key projects: This role will contribute to various tasks, including product production, project management, onboarding suppliers, budgeting, and maintaining schedules.
- Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 60% heads down, 40% meetings. This will vary day by day.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and proven experience in managing international and medium-scale technology & medium-complex software/hardware development projects. Prior experience in a consulting or professional services environment and core project management skills, including financial management, planning, scheduling, reporting, resource management, stakeholder communications, and risk management.
- Minimum 8 years experience with guiding cross-team and third-party partnerships - influencing without authority and using the power of diverse teams.
- Minimum 8 years experience with project management skills.
- Minimum 8 years experience with time management skills including handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Years of Experience Required: 10 overall years of experience in the field.
- Degrees or certifications required: Nice to have: Bachelor's Degree in a related field and proven experience in managing international and medium-scale technology & medium-complex software/hardware development projects. A Master s degree in a relevant subject or equivalent work experience, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Best vs. Average: Excellent communication skills and forward-thinking (being open to looking at things differently and ensuring compliance and security).
- Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines and quality of work.
Preferred:
- Professional presentation skills with experience of regularly presenting to a variety of different audiences. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Agile certification. Master s degree in a relevant subject or equivalent work experience.
