A Project Manager / Enterprise Risk Management job is available with our client, a leading global provider of trading, clearing, exchange technology, listing, information and public company services. This role can be remote but candidates MUST live in either the NYC or Philly areas. This is a contract role.

Group Risk Management (GRM) collaborates with businesses as a trusted advisor, facilitating well-informed decisions that support Companys strategic objectives. GRM manages and continues to enhance the Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Control, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Corporate Insurance frameworks and programs. These programs facilitate the identification, assessment, monitoring, and treatment and reporting of all types of risks.


The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team of GRM is seeking a Sr. Specialist ERM Project Manager to support key strategic initiatives. The position will report to the Director Enterprise Risk Management. The Sr. Specialist will be responsible for supporting GRMs strategic initiatives from a project management perspective including scheduling, monitor progress, and reporting.



DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Facilitate the management and governance of project meetings and working groups, as appropriate.
  • Create and manage the development of project artifacts such as plans, scorecards, risk and issue tracking.
  • Identify key project risks and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly.
  • Review, analyze and consolidate findings across projects, and propose adjustments as needed.
  • Update/upgrade deliverables based on feedback from key stakeholders or leadership.
  • Working with the Program Manager, ensure that deliveries from workstreams meet requirements and are of appropriate quality and on time.
  • Keep abreast of emerging processes and technologies that may further inform the strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare Reports.

THE SKILLS YOU NEED TO GET THE ROLE:
  • 5+ years of experience with a mix of risk, technology, audit, and/or consulting roles.
  • Project management experience.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
  • Proactive with the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience portraying analytical information in visual ways; synthesizing and analyzing large amounts of data and information to identify risks, patterns, and trends and consider interdependencies and impact of actions.
  • Inquisitive nature, resourcefulness, ability to seek out information and think outside the box.
  • Strong organizational skills: able to successfully multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including business leaders, legal, internal audit, and technology.
  • Generates energy and commitment. Ability to drive results, effect/inspire change, and have a positive impact on the organization.
  • Ability to deliver as an individual contributor and work within a global team environment.
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary projects with complexity, driving/supporting timely and effective project execution and meeting project objectives.
  • Resourceful in analysis and identifying solutions to support decision-making.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Experience with M&A / integration projects preferred.
  • Experience in financial services industry (capital markets or financial technology), preferred.
