DevOps Engineer-W2 only

Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote / Onsite (Flexible)
Employment Type: Full-Time / C2C / C2H
Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE).
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep.
• Automate deployment processes for application and infrastructure workloads.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and reliability.
• Configure and manage cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to ensure smooth releases.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor.
• Ensure cloud security best practices, IAM configurations, and compliance controls.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support incident management processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Terraform or other IaC frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Linux administration and scripting (Python, Bash, Shell).
• Familiarity with version control using Git and GitOps methodologies.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, Load Balancing, DNS, Firewalls).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with serverless architectures.
• Hands-on knowledge of Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for configuration management.
• Exposure to SRE practices, SLIs/SLOs, and reliability automation.
• Cloud certifications (AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps, Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
