Project Manager Laserfiche Document Management System
Work type - Remote (occasional travel to client place for important meets) - Local to FL or East Coast candidates are highly preferred.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation and optimization of the Laserfiche Document Management System. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing document management or content management system (CMS) projects, preferably within the public sector or regulated industries. This role involves cross-functional coordination, stakeholder management, and ensuring on-time, within-budget project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end Laserfiche implementation and enhancement projects.
Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to define scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Develop and maintain project plans, risk logs, and status reports.
Lead project meetings, track progress, and ensure milestones are met.
Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management processes.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and retention policies.
Facilitate integration with existing systems (ERP, CRM, etc.) where necessary.
Manage budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships related to the Laserfiche platform.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
3+ years of experience managing projects involving Laserfiche.
7+ years of overall experience in IT project management.
Strong understanding of document lifecycle, workflow automation, and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
