RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Foundry Support Engineer in Mequon, WI.

Position Purpose/Mission:
The Foundry Support Engineer will support and sustain a growing suite of Foundry-based operational applications. The Engineer will ensure system reliability, drive continuous improvements and enable business users to maximize the value from this company's Foundry investment.

This role requires deep technical expertise in Foundry, strong operational awareness and a focus on long-term system health and scalability. You will act as the critical bridge between IT, production and business teams for anything Foundry-related. You will also work closely with Palantir developers both during and after rollouts, participating in the application development lifecycle when needed and ensuring a smooth transition into ongoing support after rollout completion.

Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary technical support for Foundry-based scheduling and operational applications
* Maintain and refine scheduling models, optimization logic and data pipelines inside Foundry
* Support change management activities, onboarding new users and training stakeholders as needed
* Foundry Support Engineer will continuously improve application performance, usability and scheduling accuracy based on operational feedback
* Build and maintain reusable components to allow rapid scaling across mills and product lines
* Partner with IT Security, Infrastructure and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure Foundry applications align with company's broader IT strategy
* Build, monitor and optimize dashboards and KPIs for schedule adherence, throughput and operational performance
* Document solutions and processes to enable scalable growth

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience
* 3+ years of experience building, maintaining or supporting applications in Palantir Foundry
* Strong proficiency in Typescript for Foundry Object Builders (FOBs) and application development
* Expertise in Python for ETL pipeline development (Code Workbooks, Code Repositories, Foundry Pipelines)
* Solid understanding of finite scheduling principles and operational constraints in manufacturing environments
* Hands-on experience with building and maintaining Foundry Ontologies and Data Assets
* Experience building and supporting data pipelines for shop floor, SCADA, ERP and MES data
* Familiarity with version control practices (Git) and basic DevOps/CI-CD concepts
* Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and operational audiences

Preferred Qualifications:
* 5+ years of direct Foundry development or support experience
* Deep experience in manufacturing environments, particularly batch or continuous processes (melt shop, rolling mill, etc.)
* Hands-on delivery of operational applications inside Foundry (scheduling apps, dashboards, etc.)
* Familiarity with Palantir's best practices for ontology modeling, code management and modular component design
* Experience mentoring or supporting business users and planners in a Foundry environment
* Strong documentation habits with an eye for long-term system sustainability

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
