Position: MuleSoft Architect (Salesforce Integration)
Location: Charlotte, NC/Remote


Experience: 10+ years
Employment Type: 6+ Months contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled MuleSoft Architect with proven experience designing and implementing Salesforce integration solutions. The ideal candidate will lead API-led connectivity architecture, ensure scalability and performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect end-to-end integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Develop and implement integration strategies between Salesforce and other enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, Databases, etc.).
  • Define API-led architecture, including Experience, Process, and System APIs.
  • Ensure integration solutions adhere to security, performance, and scalability standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on MuleSoft best practices.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce developers, business analysts, and solution architects to ensure seamless integration.
  • Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of integration solutions.
  • Document architecture, design patterns, and integration flows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of IT experience with 4+ years in MuleSoft design and development.
  • Strong expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and CloudHub.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce (Sales/Service Cloud) using MuleSoft connectors.
  • Proficiency in API design (RAML, REST, SOAP) and DataWeave transformations.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and API security (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
  • MuleSoft Certified Architect or Developer certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce integration patterns, Lightning Platform, and Apex is a plus.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with other integration platforms or middleware tools.
  • Knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud integration and microservices architecture.
