Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Analyst / Administrative Support Specialist to join the leadership team of the FDOT OIT PALM Program. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational and critical thinking skills, capable of performing independently with minimal guidance. This role involves a broad scope of administrative, analytical, and project support tasks in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Scope of Services:
The selected candidate will provide leadership support in the areas of:
Project facilitation and documentation
Process and data analysis
Resource and service management
Administrative support including hiring, onboarding, and separation processes
Internal documentation and SharePoint site management
Workflow creation and maintenance using Microsoft PowerAutomate
Use of ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, and other agency tools.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day operations of the PALM Remediation Program
Analyze and document business processes; develop process diagrams
Create high-quality reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and visuals
Use ServiceNow for time, configuration, and service management tasks
Manage work backlogs and track progress using Azure DevOps
Maintain and enhance SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries
Lead or assist with hiring processes (e.g., resume reviews, interview coordination, onboarding)
Perform staff support activities such as training tracking, recertifications, and timesheet assistance
Foster a positive, communicative, and team-oriented environment
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Equivalent experience may substitute for formal education
Experience:
Demonstrated experience in analyzing tasks and planning next steps
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Required)
Experience in State Government environments (Highly Desired)
Familiarity with ServiceNow, SharePoint, Azure DevOps (Highly Desired)
Previous experience onboarding and training staff
Experience creating workflow diagrams and maintaining documentation
Background in managing or assisting with small-scale projects
Familiarity with MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) (Highly Desired)
Experience working on Agile project teams
