Job Title: Voice Engineer & Cloud Architect

Note: Looking for people coming from Telecom industry domain with heavy Kubernetes experience
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Voice Engineer and Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise-level voice infrastructure and cloud platforms. This hybrid role demands deep technical expertise in VoIP, SIP, and unified communications, along with strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes, OpenStack, and private cloud environments.
The ideal candidate will bridge telecom and cloud architecture, driving innovation and reliability across critical infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable VoIP and unified communications systems (e.g., SIP, RTP, SBCs).
- Architect and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
- Build and maintain secure and high-availability private cloud environments leveraging OpenStack and other IaaS platforms.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows (e.g., using Helm, Terraform, Ansible).
- Collaborate with DevOps, Network, and Security teams to ensure seamless integration of voice and cloud systems.
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and voice-related issues.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to continuously improve infrastructure efficiency and performance.
- Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high-availability setups.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Voice Engineering (VoIP, SIP, RTP, PBX systems).
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, including Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven experience deploying and operating OpenStack in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of private/hybrid cloud strategies and technologies.
- Proficient in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.
- Familiarity with Linux system administration and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancing).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), OpenStack, or Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with voice security protocols (TLS, SRTP) and SBC configuration.
- Knowledge of telecom compliance and quality standards (QoS, MOS scoring).
- Previous experience working in a highly regulated or mission-critical environment.
