Job Details

In this role, you will:
  • Design and implement integration solutions leveraging Boomi.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain integration workflows across applications, data systems, and cloud platforms.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather integration needs and convert them into clear technical requirements.
  • Ensure integration solutions are robust, scalable, and deliver high performance.
  • Mentor and support junior developers and other team members with integration best practices.
  • Oversee project schedules, resource planning, and deliverables to meet deadlines.
  • Diagnose and resolve integration-related issues and provide ongoing technical support.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce adherence to development standards and best practices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all integration processes.
  • Remain current with Boomi platform updates and industry trends to continuously improve solution design.
Requirements
Experience & Technical Skills:
  • Minimum of 10 years of overall experience in the IT industry.
  • Boomi Proficiency: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Boomi development and architecture, including work with API management, EDI integrations, and cloud/hybrid connectivity.
  • Integration Architecture: Solid understanding of iPaaS concepts and best practices, including API-led integration, event-driven design, and microservices-based architecture.
  • Cloud & On-Prem Integration: Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying integrations across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments using Boomi AtomSphere.
  • Data Handling & ETL: Skilled in data mapping, transformation, and orchestration involving various data sources like SQL/NoSQL databases, flat files, and cloud-based systems.
  • Enterprise Systems Integration: Familiarity with ERP, CRM, HRMS, and other enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, NetSuite, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • API & Web Services Expertise: Strong experience with REST and SOAP APIs, including the design, development, and management of web services.
  • Security & Compliance: In-depth knowledge of API security, authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, JWT), data encryption, and regulatory standards like GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Performance & Monitoring: Proficient in monitoring, debugging, and optimizing performance of Boomi integrations.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Working knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment automation in integration ecosystems.
Soft Skills & Leadership:
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration challenges independently.
  • Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Experience leading integration projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Agile Experience: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Education & Certifications:
  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a similar discipline is desirable; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
  • Boomi certifications such as Associate, Professional, or Architect are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Certifications in major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform will strengthen the profile.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to AI/ML-driven integration patterns within the Boomi ecosystem is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of enterprise messaging platforms like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ is beneficial.
  • Experience with container-based deployments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation tools (such as Terraform or CloudFormation) is preferred.
  • Practical involvement in data-related practices like governance, MDM, or system-wide data consistency is highly valued.
