The Salesforce Administrator/Developer is responsible for managing, enhancing, and optimizing the organization s Salesforce platform to support daily business operations and long-term growth. This role is administration-focused, with a strong emphasis on building new features and functionality (using declarative tools first, and Apex/code-based solutions when needed). The ideal candidate is comfortable supporting end users, maintaining system stability, and delivering scalable enhancements with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Salesforce platform, handling break/fix issues, user support, permission management, and configuration needs.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, translating them into scalable Salesforce solutions.

  • Build and maintain declarative automation using Salesforce Flows (record-triggered, scheduled, screen flows) in alignment with clicks, not code best practices.

  • Develop new features and functionality when declarative tools are insufficient, including Apex Classes, Triggers, Visualforce, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components.

  • Maintain and enhance custom integrations using Salesforce APIs with systems such as Vonage, MuleSoft, NetSuite, and HubSpot.

  • Support and maintain the organization s Experience Cloud site.

  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, maintain documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development.

  • Create and maintain system documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures.

  • Train and support users on system functionality, new features, and best practices.

  • Manage sandbox environments used for testing, training, and development.
