Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong experience in data cleaning, analysis, visualization, and reporting to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will work with large and complex datasets using SQL, Python, R, and BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights. Experience with cloud platforms and big data tools is highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze structured and semi-structured data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel

  • Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data from relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, Sybase)

  • Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation using Python (Pandas), R, and Excel Power Query

  • Work with large datasets using BigQuery, Apache Spark, and Hive to support scalable data analysis

  • Automate recurring reports and dashboards to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into BI solutions

  • Support data quality initiatives by identifying inconsistencies and resolving data-related issues

  • Document data workflows, logic, and analysis results to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing

  • Assist in performance benchmarking and optimization of data queries and pipelines

  • Participate in Agile environments and support CI/CD-driven analytics workflows when required


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence

  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data validation

  • Experience with Python and/or R for data analysis and visualization

  • Hands-on experience with Power BI and Tableau for dashboard development

  • Solid knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, reporting)

  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform

  • Familiarity with big data tools like BigQuery, Apache Spark, Hive, and Dataproc

  • Understanding of data modeling, data cleaning, and reporting best practices

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to machine learning or predictive analytics using Python (Scikit-learn)

  • Experience analyzing large-scale consumer, retail, or financial datasets

  • Knowledge of DevOps or automation tools such as Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or Git

  • Prior experience working in Agile or enterprise support environments

  • Relevant certifications in Python, Data Analytics, or Cloud Technologies


Education

  • Master’s degree in Information Science, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
