Appian Technical Lead:
Job Requirements:
• 10-15 years of progressive experience in software development, or technology leadership roles in atleast 6-8 years in Appian
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex IT systems and architectures.
• Appian Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of Appian components such as Process Designing, SAIL, Rules, Security, and Integration.
• Proficiency in Appian Designer, low-code development, BPMN, and data modeling
• Integration and Architecture: Understanding of integrations with REST, SOAP, and other systems; knowledge of Appian architecture and infrastructure
• In-depth knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, and compliance standards.
• Hands-on experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide technical teams.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a significant advantage.
Job Duties
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions to support business strategies.
• Provide technical direction and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and architecture principles.
• Act as a key advisor to senior management on technology trends, innovations, and opportunities to enhance business operations.
• Oversee and manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of IT systems and applications.
• Drive the adoption of modern technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve team productivity and system efficiency.
• Mentor and develop technical talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of IT systems, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Additional Preferred skills:
• Expertise in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and frameworks (e.g., .NET, React, Angular).
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.
• Certification: Senior or Lead Developer certification is a plus
