Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Monitoring as Code Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in implementing and managing monitoring solutions through code. The specialist will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure and applications.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement monitoring solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

Automate the deployment and configuration of monitoring tools and services.

Develop and maintain reusable scripts, templates, and modules for monitoring setups.

Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate monitoring with CI/CD pipelines.

Build and manage observability solutions to monitor application and infrastructure health.

Create dashboards, alerts, and metrics for real-time visibility into system performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to monitoring configurations or degraded performance.

Keep up with industry best practices and emerging technologies in observability and monitoring.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on monitoring-as-code methodologies.
Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience with monitoring tools in production environments.

Strong expertise with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.

Proficiency with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or equivalent.

Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other relevant languages.

Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Understanding of CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.

Exposure to configuration management tools such as Chef or Puppet.
