I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Texas Veterans Commission requires the services of 1 Developer/Programmer Analyst 1, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Developer/Programmer Analyst 1, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Veterans Commission. All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Texas Veterans Commission and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Veterans Commission will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).
Responsible for creating and managing solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform suite, which includes Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. Here are some key job duties for this role:
Develop Applications: Design, develop, and maintain custom business applications using Power Apps to address specific business needs
Automate Workflows: Use Power Automate to create and manage automated workflows that streamline business processes
Data Visualization: Develop and maintain data visualization and reporting solutions using Power BI to provide actionable insights
Integration: Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services (like SharePoint) and third-party applications to ensure seamless operation
Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support and training to users to ensure they can effectively use the solutions developed

III. TERMS OF SERVICE
Services are expected to start 07/01/2025 and are expected to complete by 12/31/2025.
IV. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION
Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Texas Veterans Commission. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.
The primary work location(s) will be at Remote. The working position is Telework.
