Overview
A new initiative seeks a skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to oversee and deliver large-scale, complex technical programs. The ideal candidate will drive the successful execution of mission-critical projects, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless alignment with business goals.
Job Title: Senior Technical Program Manager
Location: 100% Remote
Scheduled Work Hours: 40 hours/week (not including mandatory unpaid meal break after 6 hours of work).
Duration: 1 Year
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and other stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.

  • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and blockers; develop effective mitigation strategies.

  • Drive clear and effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and leadership, providing regular updates and status reports.

  • Foster continuous improvement and implement best practices for optimizing program management and project delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and information security requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 12+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager (or similar), managing and delivering complex technical projects.

  • Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development methodologies and practices.

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills; ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Superior problem-solving and analytical skills, able to find solutions to technical challenges.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred).

  • Experience using program management tools, such as Azure DevOps.

  • Proactive, results-oriented approach; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in large, complex ecosystems

  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Azure, or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services

  • Experience working with NYC government or public sector agencies
