Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Level 3 Data Center Technician to join our client's IT operations team. This role focuses on GPU cluster deployments and maintaining high-performance data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure, data center operations, server installations, and network updates.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform tasks including server/switch installation, cabling, and hardware inspections.
  • Deploy and configure GPUs in servers; perform break-fix tasks and component replacements.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve technical tickets.
  • Coordinate build activities and ensure alignment with data center standards.
  • Manage multiple projects and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures.
  • Perform Level 1 & Level 2 tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years in a hyperscale data center environment.
  • Experience with GPU deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with structured cabling (Cat5/Cat6, fiber optics), rack & stack, and optical testing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ticketing systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, climb ladders, and wear PPE as needed.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Certifications & Skills:
  • CompTIA A+, Server+, CCENT, CCNA, MCP/MSCE.
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Knowledge of ITIL Framework and Network Fundamentals (OSI Layers 1-3).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.60 - $33.60/hr.
