We are seeking a skilled Level 3 Data Center Technician to join our client's IT operations team. This role focuses on GPU cluster deployments and maintaining high-performance data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure, data center operations, server installations, and network updates.

We are seeking a skilled Level 3 Data Center Technician to join our client's IT operations team. This role focuses on GPU cluster deployments and maintaining high-performance data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure, data center operations, server installations, and network updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks including server/switch installation, cabling, and hardware inspections.
- Deploy and configure GPUs in servers; perform break-fix tasks and component replacements.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve technical tickets.
- Coordinate build activities and ensure alignment with data center standards.
- Manage multiple projects and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Perform Level 1 & Level 2 tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years in a hyperscale data center environment.
- Experience with GPU deployment and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with structured cabling (Cat5/Cat6, fiber optics), rack & stack, and optical testing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ticketing systems.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, climb ladders, and wear PPE as needed.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Certifications & Skills:
- CompTIA A+, Server+, CCENT, CCNA, MCP/MSCE.
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Knowledge of ITIL Framework and Network Fundamentals (OSI Layers 1-3).
