Lehigh Valley Health Network has immediate opportunity for a Senior Technical Development and Support Analyst located in Allentown, PA. This is a hybrid position (2 days onsite / 3 days remote).

This is an exciting opportunity to build and support technologies to serve LVHN while being part of an exceptional health care experience. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting and maintaining large scale Citrix XenApp and NetScaler environments.

Responsibilities:

Build and support technologies to serve business needs. Participates in the full development lifecycle for team technologies and projects. Administers and supports automated systems via the construction and testing of technologies within area(s) of specialization. Partners with senior developers and application architects to identify the business needs and appropriate technical solutions.

Job Duties:

  • Assists the business in determining the best technical solutions for issues/processes and how they can/should be integrated with other business and technical systems/processes.
  • Develops detailed business work plans for analysis, testing system upgrades, modifications, and enhancements.
  • Evaluates the configuration, implementation and maintenance of the technical requirements for the current development, staging and production environments.
  • Analyzes work processes, feasibility of medium to large project requests, and troubleshoots operational problems.
  • Develops, plans and executes thorough and complete test scenarios and plans.
  • Assists in developing technology standards.
  • Coordinates resources required for task completion.
  • Serves as a direct liaison to functional process owners and subject matter experts.
  • Completes tasks by due dates or documents variances and alerts management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree Information Sciences and Technology or related fields or number of years experience as defined in the Work Experience Preferred.
  • 4 years progressive experience in Information Technology or a related Healthcare field.
  • Attention to detail and ability to assess business problems and develop feasible alternative solutions.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and to be self-motivated and self-disciplined.
  • In depth knowledge of processes of assigned area(s), applications, and technologies.
  • Effectively deals with multiple and changing priorities.
  • Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision and/or direction.

Windows Server Management:

  • General experience 5+ years.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  • Strong knowledge of DNS/DHCP and IP subnetting concepts.
  • General server management for current Windows OS; building and maintaining.
  • Experience with installing/supporting software such as antivirus, monitoring/alerting tools, and Security agents.
  • Independent troubleshooting ability and initiative to resolve problems correctly

Virtualization/Storage Admin:

  • General experience 5+ years.
  • Direct experience with VMWare, current versions, required.
  • Knowledge of SAN platforms, enterprise storage, direct management a plus but general concepts required.

Citrix:

  • General experience 5+ years.
  • Supporting and maintaining Citrix PVS and/or MCS environments 5+ years.
  • Supporting and maintaining large scale Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop environments 5+ years.
  • Supporting and maintaining multiple StoreFront environments 5+ years.
  • Supporting and maintaining Citrix NetScaler ADC or similar load balancing technology 5+ years.
  • Supporting and maintaining Citrix NetScaler remote access solutions 5+ years.
  • Design and manage highly complex Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops infrastructures, with an emphasis on delivering multi-user shared desktop platform and seamless applications.
  • Manage and support solutions within Citrix Cloud to drive the organizations cloud initiatives.
  • Manage and support the migration and lifecycle of Citrix components for on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Proactively improve or automate management processes using PowerShell or other scripting methods.
  • Implement high-impact changes to improve user experience, operational efficiency, and support processes.
  • Manage multiple data centers; active / active GLSB NetScaler environment and effectively plan and deploy updates and firmware upgrades.
  • Attention to detail and can provide documentation updates to SOP s.
  • Desire to keep knowledge current as technologies change and evolve.
