Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Delivery Lead to oversee and manage multiple PODs. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in client management, delivery leadership, and team management, along with a proven background in the mortgage industry. This role requires hands-on leadership to ensure successful delivery of technology initiatives while building strong client partnerships and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple delivery PODs, ensuring timely execution of projects with high quality and efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Freddie Mac stakeholders, building trusted relationships and managing expectations.
- Oversee delivery planning, execution, and tracking across multiple projects and teams.
- Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand requirements, define solutions, and deliver value.
- Manage risks, resolve conflicts, and proactively address challenges in project execution.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, best practices, and Freddie Mac compliance requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in IT delivery leadership roles, with proven success managing large-scale programs.
- Strong background in the mortgage/financial services industry
- Exceptional client management and team leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing and scaling delivery PODs or agile teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on understanding of modern technology stack:
- Java + Spring Boot
- Python / PySpark
- PostgreSQL
- AWS Cloud
- MongoDB

- Ability to collaborate with technical leads and architects to ensure robust solution delivery.
Education
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- PMP, CSM, SAFe, or other Agile certifications preferred.
