Location: Vancouver, WA (hybrid)
Duration: 12-month Contract (with possible extensions up to 3 years)
Pay Range: $46.02 - $49.25 per hour

Conduct quantitative analyses of financial information affecting operating plans and programs of public or private institutions Track a company's financial performance against a plan, analyzing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts, and helping management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing recommendations and periodic reports.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide preparation and analysis of monthly financial operations reports.
- Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports.
- Compile, code, categorize, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.
- Provide assistance in the analysis of past and present financial operations and evolving business conditions to estimate future revenues and expenditures in support of forecasts, budgets, and other ad hoc analysis.
- Perform monthly and yearly financial closing activities.
- Enter, transcribe, record, store and maintain financial documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial information including financial statements, flash reports, business unit specific reporting.
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
- Prepare/provide ad/hoc analysis as requested.
- Identify trends in data.
- Normalize data to be incorporated into a centralized data format.
- Perform market research and data mining.
- Collect and maintain financial data for modeling/data analysis projects.
- Use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to enter and manipulate financial data, set up functions, or process information.
- Facilitate assigned projects.
- Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the fields of business, finance, and economic theory.
Position Requirements:
Education & Corresponding Experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Business Mathematics or a closely-related technical field is preferred.
- 5 years of direct work experience in a financial analysis capacity, including all aspects of project support/analysis is required.
- 3 years of financial forecasting experience.
- 3 years of working knowledge of automated data systems.
- 3 years of experience running queries, generating reports to support management, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in an automated environment.
- 3 years of experience researching data anomalies, evaluating information gathered (sometimes from multiple sources) and reconciling data conflicts.
- 3 years of experience applying a diversified knowledge of analysis principles and practices.
- Must have excellent verbal and written skills sufficient to provide ongoing training and updates to managers, stakeholders and other customers.
