We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support to end-users regarding computer systems, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and resolve issues in person, via phone, or through remote access, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support to end-users regarding computer systems, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and resolve issues in person, via phone, or through remote access, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for users with hardware, software, and application issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office, VPN, and other enterprise applications.
- Set up and support user accounts, permissions, and passwords in Active Directory.
- Maintain accurate records of issues and solutions within the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex problems.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including hardware setup and software provisioning.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide support for video conferencing and meeting room technology.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in a desktop support or help desk role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Certifications:
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
