Title: Mobile App Developer iOS/Android
Location: This is a remote position
duration: 6 months
seeking an iOS Developer who is motivated by variety, is seeking a challenging environment for professional growth, and is interested in supporting client headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in iOS development and experience in Android to help design, build, and maintain our mobile applications. They will have a deep understanding of the iOS development lifecycle and native technologies, combined with the ability to work on a shared codebase or assist with native Android projects.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for iOS using Swift and/or Objective-C, X-Code, and Python.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of iOS applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend engineers, to define and design new features.
Stay up to date with new mobile technologies and industry trends.
Contribute to code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field with 8+ years of professional mobile app development experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Proficient in Swift and/or Objective-C, X-Code, and Python for iOS development
Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns (MVC, MVVM), and RESTful APIs
Familiarity with third-party libraries, APIs, and version control tools (e.g., Git)
Knowledge of mobile security best practices
Experience with Python
Experience publishing apps to the App Store and Google Play Store
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Experience with cross-platform development frameworks
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with mobile application development for Android is a plus
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus
Experience working with cross-platform development tools or frameworks is a plus
Familiarity with CI/CD tools for mobile
AI Chatbot development experience is a plus
Experience with analytics tools is a plus
