Job Details

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient QA Automation Lead to lead our quality assurance strategy and drive test automation initiatives. You will be responsible for managing QA engineers, overseeing test automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality software releases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, design, and execution of test strategies for web, mobile, and backend systems.

Develop, maintain, and scale robust automated test frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.

Manage a team of QA engineers and provide technical leadership, mentorship, and performance feedback.

Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to define quality metrics and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Implement and track KPIs to monitor software quality and process improvements.

Maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices.

Promote best practices in QA and software engineering, including shift-left testing and test-driven development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 2+ years in a lead role focused on automation.

Strong expertise in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, or RestAssured.

Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages used in automation scripting.

Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Karate.

Experience in continuous integration and delivery environments using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.

Deep understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.

Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skill
