QA Technician

Position Details: QA Technician Sylmar, CA Location : Sylmar, CA 91342 Project Duration : 06+ Months Contract Pay Rate : $ 26/hr. on W2

Description: Major responsibilities include: Receive and track equipment used by patients or explanted from patients bodies for failure analysis; Reconcile all received products with quality system records and investigate/resolve any anomalies; Decontaminate explanted equipment per operating procedures; Maintain appropriate inventories of decontamination chemicals and process materials; Perform visual inspection of returned product; Perform testing of returned product and record findings into the Quality System; Any and all tasks specified by the Lab Lead/Manager. The job requires microscope experience. Around 10% to 20% of the workday will be spent using a microscope.

• Electronics skills Associate s Degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Engineering Technology, equivalent trade school/military training, or comparable related experience in biomedical field is desired.
• Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
• Must understand and comply with applicable Food & Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and Company operating procedures, processes, policies and rules.
• Works with a computer (Microsoft applications such as word, excel, outlook), microscope and variety of diagnostic and test equipment s such as oscilloscope, signal generators, multi meters, etc.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
