Overview

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Net Zero Cloud Consultant to support discovery, solution design, and configuration for financed emissions reporting and management. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of Salesforce expertise, ESG domain knowledge, and consulting skills to help implement solutions for Scope 3 financed emissions within Salesforce Net Zero Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct discovery workshops with ESG, business, and IT stakeholders to analyze current processes and data sources related to financed emissions.
  • Review and assess the existing Net Zero Cloud configuration; collaborate with the Customer team to propose a unified solution design for emissions management.
  • Configure and extend Salesforce Net Zero Cloud functionality, reusing existing objects/fields where possible and minimizing technical debt.
  • Design and demonstrate a Proof of Concept (POC) for auto loans portfolio emissions, including representative datasets and aggregated emissions factors.
  • Collaborate with the Customer s ESG team to ensure alignment with sustainability reporting standards and requirements.
  • Provide solution trade-offs, recommend approaches for different asset classes, and document decisions collaboratively.
  • Work with IT teams to ensure proper access, sandbox setup, and integration with data systems (ETL, data lakes, 3rd party datasets).
  • Ensure compliance with carbon accounting best practices (e.g., PCAF, GHG Protocol) in solution design.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of Salesforce experience with at least 1+ year hands-on in Net Zero Cloud (configuration, reporting, solution design).
  • Proven experience with Scope 3 financed emissions and ESG/carbon accounting practices.
  • Strong Salesforce Admin and Configuration skills custom objects, fields, workflows, and data modeling.
  • Ability to manage large financial datasets and propose pragmatic solutions (aggregation, representative sampling, etc.).
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills for running discovery and design workshops.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (ESG, IT, business partners).

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in financial services (lending, investments, auto loans, mortgages, etc.).
  • Knowledge of emissions factor datasets (internal and 3rd party).
  • Familiarity with ETL tools, data lakes, and middleware.
  • Exposure to project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Net Zero Cloud Consultant, Administrator, Platform App Builder).
