Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer Location: Columbus OH (onsite) Duration: 12 months
Job Description:
Developing custom solutions using technologies like Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
Integrating Salesforce with other systems via APIs; and overseeing the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance. They also mentor junior developers, ensure adherence to best practices, manage releases, and collaborate with stakeholders.
Key responsibilities Solution development:
Design, develop, and implement custom applications and solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.
Integration:
Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other internal and external systems using APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP).
Project leadership: Lead technical aspects of projects, make architectural decisions, and oversee the development and release processes.
Mentorship:
Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure the team follows development best practices.
Stakeholder collaboration: Work with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
Best practices and quality assurance:
Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code quality, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and performant.
Documentation:
Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, specifications, and user guides.
Stay current:
Keep up-to-date with Salesforce releases and new features to ensure the platform is optimized.
Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, etc.
Technical skills:
Proficiency with Apex, SOQL, SOSL, LWC, and Visualforce.
Experience with APIs and integrations.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Soft skills:
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Leadership and management abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strategic thinking and the ability to transform business needs into technical solutions.
