Help Desk Technician - Banking Support (Full-Time, On-Site)
Shift: Mid shift (2:00 PM - 11:00 PM) with flexibility to cover night shift (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM) as needed
Location: On-site in Hawai'i
Overview:
TEKsystems is seeking a dependable and customer-oriented Help Desk Technician to support IT operations for a large enterprise client in Hawai'i. This role offers hands-on experience in both help desk and desktop support functions, with opportunities to grow within a professional and collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone and ticketing system (Sharewell), resolving issues and escalating when necessary
Assist with Microsoft 365 user provisioning and basic troubleshooting
Support desktop team with hardware installations, printer setup, break-fix tasks, and asset management
Participate in project setups involving IT equipment, including workspace organization and equipment deployment
Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and ticket resolutions
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or
Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL Foundations); or
Equivalent work experience (minimum 1 year in a similar role)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems
Effective time management and prioritization skills
Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ticketing systems and escalation workflows
Familiarity with desktop rollouts and hands-on troubleshooting
Exposure to enterprise IT environments
