Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an API Infrastructure Engineer for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Investment Management clients in New York, NY . Client is unable to sponsor visas for this role or work with third party layers.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable API infrastructure to support various internal and external applications.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define API requirements and specifications.
- Implement best practices for API design, versioning, security, and documentation.
- Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability through monitoring, testing, and tuning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in API development and infrastructure.
Required Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
