Trident Consulting is looking for a "Senior ROKU Developer (Remote)" for one of our clients.

Role: Senior ROKU Developer

Type: Contract

Job Location: Remote (Work Time will be as per PST or EST)

Job Description--

The Roku Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Roku applications writing clean and efficient code and collaborating with cross functional teams to create high-quality user experiences Additional tasks include troubleshooting and debugging applications optimizing performance.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Roku TV applications using Scene Graph and Brightscript
  • Good to have experience on Brightscript
  • Implement UIUX designs within the Roku TV ecosystem
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define design and ship new features
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Stay UpToDate with the latest industry trends and technologies
  • Write clean maintainable and efficient code
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Roku TV application development
  • Proficiency in Scene Graph and Bright script
  • Strong understanding of Rokus development environment and tools
  • Experience with video streaming technologies and DRM solutions
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other streaming platforms and languages
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies
  • Familiarity with Git and version control systems
