Description

Job Title: Epicor Administrator

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Epicor Administrator to handle all aspects of our recently-implemented Epicor ERP. This role will assume full responsibility for our Epicor ERP solution from our implementation vendors and move us towards in-house support. The ideal candidate should be able to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the system, ensuring the company maximizes its utilization of the software to achieve the most efficient and effective business processes.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and maintain the Epicor ERP system post-implementation.
  2. Provide end-user support and training on Epicor ERP related issues and work to resolve them in a timely manner.
  3. Monitor system performance, analyze issues and take corrective actions when necessary.
  4. Conduct system audits and manage software upgrades and implementation of new features.
  5. Liaise with Epicor vendors and partners for escalated support and system enhancements.
  6. Document system configurations and maintain system protocols.
  7. Foster solid relationships with internal departments to understand their business processes and needs to ensure Epicor is aligned and adaptable.
  8. Develop, coordinate and implement a robust disaster recovery strategy for Epicor ERP.
  9. Provide day-to-day technical administration of the Epicor ERP including security administration, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  10. Develop reports and dashboards as per business needs.


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in administering and supporting Epicor ERP.
  • Strong report-writing skills and understanding of SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Extensive experience with ERP system upgrades, patches, and customizations.
  • Experience with system implementations, preferably in a lead capacity.
  • Excellent documentation and process mapping skills.
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills.
  • Proven experience providing end-user training on ERP systems.
  • Must be able to perform to high standards of quality and meet deadlines in a demanding but rewarding environment.
  • Must have the capacity to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels within the organization.
