Senior IT Business / Solutions Analyst (WMS)

Role Title: IT Business Analyst

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Preferred Location: Local to Beachwood, OH (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Role Description:
A Solutions Analyst is an IT professional who functionally designs systems, applications, and user interfaces to support specific business processes. This individual works closely with external customers and internal/external operations teams to identify system and process improvement opportunities. They document business and technical requirements and help implement and train end users on the solutions to ensure compliance with both technical and business needs.

This role requires someone who can work across both technical areas (Blue Yonder WMS and RT Locator), support ongoing consolidation and integration efforts, and serve as a key liaison during the system improvement lifecycle.
Major Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main IT Business Analyst across Blue Yonder WMS and RT Locator platforms
• Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to gather and document business and technical requirements
• Lead the functional design of systems, applications, and user interfaces based on business processes
• Translate business requirements into actionable system configurations and specifications
• Manage and oversee the design, development, and implementation of WMS solutions
• Act as the primary point of contact for updates, issue resolution, and system inquiries
• Design and document end-to-end business process solutions based on platform capabilities
• Identify and implement new functionality to support evolving operational requirements
• Lead virtual and in-person training sessions to ensure proper solution usage
• Participate in customer-facing presentations and contribute to technical solution discussions
• Create and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and task ownership
• Conduct testing and certification to ensure solutions meet business and customer expectations
• Analyze current system capabilities and identify opportunities for improvement or expansion
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to junior analysts
• Support change management, training needs, and internal capability development
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives and other projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, or Business Administration
• 10+ years of solutions design or enterprise systems experience
• 7+ years working with WMS systems (Blue Yonder and/or RT Locator strongly preferred)
• 5+ years of data analysis and SQL skills
• 3+ years of project management experience across large and/or concurrent projects
• Strong understanding of the full solution implementation lifecycle and methodologies
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills must be able to interface with both technical teams and executive leadership
• Proven ability to function in a blended technical-functional capacity
• Experience working across global virtual teams and delivering hybrid (virtual/in-person) training
• Certifications such as Green Belt, Black Belt, Lean, or PMP are a plus
• Must be highly analytical and adept at troubleshooting and solution design
• Broad knowledge of enterprise technology platforms and how to apply them to real-world use cases
