Senior Hands-On Architect / Java / Open Banking / Hybrid / Chicago

This incredibly stable leader in the financial world is looking for a Senior Java Architect to be a spearhead the migration of an open banking aggregation platform from their on prem cloud to Azure. This downtown Chicago, Hybrid opportunity is contract-to-hire. You will be a leader in development of this migration as well as leading the design and architecture. This role is full stack with an emphasis on the backend using Java and React.

This company has been in the financial space for over 130 years and they are working on modernizing and moving into Azure. This project is going to have a major impact as it is one of the first migrations into the cloud. It is desired that you have hands on experience with Azure and PCF as well as ample experience with 3rd party integrations, Docker and Kubernetes.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar.
• 8 + years of professional work with Java.
• 5+ years of Javascript experience.
• Finance industry experience.
• Architecture experience.
• Hands on Experience with Cloud and containerization.
• Strong Communication.
