A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Sr. AV Engineer
Position type: Contract
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Lebanon New Jersey 08833 (Onsite)
Description:
As a Sr. AV Engineer, you will :-
- Deploy and configure AV systems for conference rooms, executive boardrooms, and collaboration spaces
- Integrate Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and PexIP gateways for cross-platform video interoperability
- Support and optimize existing HP/Poly and Barco ClickShare installations
- Use Vyopta to monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement improvements
- Provide Tier 3 escalation support for AV issues in high-stakes, regulated environments
- Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and AV vendors to deliver upgrades and system rollouts on time
- Create and update technical documentation and system diagrams
- Ensure all work aligns with security, compliance, and data retention standards
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in AV engineering, with a focus on enterprises or financial environments
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, PexIP, and hybrid meeting platforms
- Strong working knowledge of HP/Poly video conferencing systems and Barco ClickShare
- Experience with Vyopta or similar AV monitoring/analytics tools
- Familiarity with AV-over-IP, Dante, or NDI systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across AV and networking layers
- Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight project timelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder updates
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in AV or VC platforms (Poly, Barco, CTS, etc.)
- Experience with AV control systems (e.g., Crestron or Extron)
- Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Basic scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell).
The ideal candidate:
- They will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of enterprise audio/visual and collaboration technologies with a focus on PexIP, MS Teams, Zoom, HP/Poly systems, Barco ClickShare, and Vyopta.
- The ideal candidate should be a self-directed AV expert with proven experience of deploying and troubleshooting systems in a large-scale, hybrid corporate environments.
- They will also be playing a key role in executing AV integration projects, stabilizing existing deployments, and supporting executive-level events.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in AV engineering, with a focus on enterprise or financial environments; Hands-on experience working with MS Teams/Zoom/PexIP, along with hybrid meeting platforms; Strong experience working with HP/Poly video conferencing systems, along with Barco ClickShare; Will also need to have experience working with Vyopta or similar AV monitoring/analytics tools

Pay Range*: <Between $70 per hour > OR 73 per hour>
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
