Job Details

Job Title: AI/ ML Engineer with Snowflake & Power BI

Location: Frisco, TX (Onsite)

Mode: Contract


Key Responsibilities

  • AI/ML Model Development:
    • Design, train, and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, recommendation systems, or other business use cases.
    • Evaluate and optimize model performance using industry best practices.
    • Integrate ML models into production pipelines with scalability and reliability in mind.
    • Extensive working experience in Iterative RAG or Graph RAG or Hybrid RAG is a MUST.
    • Strong experience in Data Extraction for Unstructured data, embedding models and Vector Database
  • Snowflake Data Engineering:
    • Design, implement, and optimize Snowflake data warehouses, data marts, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
    • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data preparation, transformation, and aggregation.
    • Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance within Snowflake.
  • Business Intelligence & Reporting (Power BI):
    • Build interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards that communicate trends, forecasts, and performance metrics.
    • Integrate ML-driven insights into Power BI for business-friendly visualizations.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into impactful BI solutions.
  • Collaboration & Strategy:
    • Work with data scientists, analysts, and business leaders to identify AI/ML opportunities.
    • Support data strategy initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
    • Document workflows, models, and data processes for transparency and maintainability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
    • Expert-level SQL skills and hands-on experience with Snowflake data architecture.
    • Proven experience designing complex Power BI dashboards and data models.
    • Experience with data pipeline tools (dbt, Airflow, or equivalent).
    • Familiarity with MLOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and API integrations.
  • Data & ML Knowledge:
    • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, feature engineering, and model evaluation metrics.
    • Experience working with large-scale datasets in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
    • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
    • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in Snowflake, Power BI, or cloud platforms.
  • Experience deploying ML models into Snowflake (Snowpark, UDFs, etc.).
  • Knowledge of DAX for advanced Power BI calculations.
  • Familiarity with generative AI, NLP, or deep learning applications.

Education

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
