Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize key messaging.
- Manage internal communication programs to keep employees informed about significant developments.
- Partner with departments to ensure consistent messaging across the organization.
- Oversee external communications, including media relations and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead crisis communication efforts and develop contingency plans for timely information dissemination.
- Create high-quality written materials, including speeches and presentations for executives.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies in achieving business goals.
- Mentor and lead a team of communications professionals in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in corporate communications, especially in retail or supply chain sectors.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans successfully.
- Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Experience in managing crisis communications and sensitive issues.
- Ability to build relationships with senior leaders and external partners.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with digital and social media communications.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in measuring communication effectiveness.
