Stress Engineering responsibilities includes
Stress Analysis Execution on Concessions Stress Support at Onsite for various NCs
Repair and escapement Stress Assessments at Onsite Factory on the specific high priority requirement Execution on VM Stress Support at Factory at Onsite to support Live Production. Technical Support to customer Lead at Kinston and attend day to day meetings with customers
Support to understand and determine some stress assessment approaches/requirements from Airbus to solve NC issues.
Extraction of loads, stresses from GFEM.
Creation of DFEM models
Static stress analysis of primary and secondary Aircraft structural components
Extraction of material data, geometry details and fastener specifications from part and assembly drawings.
Fatigue & DT life calculation using standard methods
Sizing of primary and secondary structural parts for static, fatigue & DT requirements
Preparation of stress certification dossiers
Concessions stress analysis Location for this position is Wichita, KS (No remote working)
Qualifications Basic Bachelor s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical /Production engineering
At least 6 years of experience in Aerospace Industry as a Stress Engineer.
Comprehensive knowledge on Stress analysis of Aero structures. Preferred Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
Experience in Airbus stress Experience in CATIA V5 (Surface design, Sheet metal, Tubing\Ducting, Composites)
Experience in Stress analysis softwares (Ansys, MSN Nastran, ISAMI) Experience in Enovia Experience in the Stress analysis of Aero-structures Strong oral and written communication skills.
