Additional scope details 1. Case management
a. Support Background
b. Able to use NetApp internal tools to help move support case forward i.e smartsolve
c. Research support case questions then deliver a response or work with case owner to resolve the case in a timely manner.
2. Troubleshooting (cases or just question)
a. Performance related (help determine if it is truly a NetApp problem or NOT)
b. ONTAP Configuration issues -- Webex with Verizon to help troubleshoot configurations (is it a NetApp problem or RedHat/VMWare)
3. Upgrades help with review of systems ie. precheck and documentation on how to do upgrades.
4. Needs to be either East or Central time zone
a. May have to travel to meet with customer for planning, maintenance, etc.
Activities include:
Defining and building proof of concepts to demonstrate NetApp capabilities within customer environment
Consult on system design and behavior
Assist customer in defining and developing operational processes that center around reliability, security, and performance.
Assist customer in architecting and integrating NetApp storage into various virtual computing environments

Deep understanding of ONTAP
Strong scripting / automation skills Python, Ansible, Go (desired)

System architecture for large-scale environments desired
