The Work
Lockheed Martin RMS is seeking a Systems Engineer (Radar Engineering).
In this role, you will perform functional analyses, design trade studies, allocate and develop requirements, carry out integration and test duties, and define systems interfaces by translating customer requirements into system and software specifications.
The successful candidate will have experience or knowledge of MATLAB, Python, Unix OS, and/or C++.

Basic Qualifications

- B.S. in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Math, or equivalent degree

- Demonstrated experience with Radar System requirements engineering

- US Government security clearance

Desired skills

- Experience in one or more of the following areas: i) radar control algorithms; ii) modeling and simulation; iii) predictive data filtering techniques (e.g. Kalman filters); and iv) Signal Processing, image processing techniques, and modeling signal processing operations

- Relevant coursework includes Computer Architecture, Algorithms and Analysis, Programming Methodology, Computer and Communication Networks, and/or Digital Signal Processing

- Basic knowledge of Radar Systems and associated applications

- Familiarity with design, tools, and environments for radar systems and subsystems for performance analysis and modeling

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

The base range for this position in New Jersey is $61,500 - $110,909.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
