Job Details
Piper Companies is looking for a CAD Drafter to join a consulting engineering firm located in Baltimore, MD. The CAD Drafter will use CAD programs to create technical drawings.

Responsibilities of the CAD Drafter include:
- Effectively use CAD programs to design technical drawings
- Draw blueprint drawings, floor plans, and mechanical drawings
- Design technical drawings of different interior spaces, including staircases, walls, doors, and railings
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to create drawings of buildings
- Understand federal, state, and local building codes.
Qualifications for the CAD Drafter include:
- 1+ year of experience using AutoCAD
- Previous experience using CAD or BIM programs
- Knowledge of forms and procedures of the engineering and construction industry
- Previous experience with drafting floor plans, blueprints, or mechanical drawings
- GED required
Compensation for the CAD Drafter includes:
- Salary/Rate Range: $22 - $25 Per Hour **depending on experience**
- Comprehensive Benefit Package : Medical/Dental/Vision, 401k, Sick Leave as required by Law
