Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
Strong SQL skills (querying, data validation, database management).
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and simulation software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Minitab, MATLAB, or similar engineering tools.
Project management skills (budget tracking, timeline management, cross-functional coordination).
Background in automotive, truck manufacturing, or high-volume production (preferred).
Ability to lead teams, train personnel, and troubleshoot MES configurations.
Willingness to work onsite (up to 50%) with possible travel.
The MES Engineer will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and maintaining Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in a high-volume production environment.
Job Description:
Leading MES system changes, including configuration updates and deployments.
Supporting New Product Introductions (NPI) by ensuring MES readiness for new builds.
Developing and executing training programs for manufacturing teams.
Managing MES budgets (capital & expenses) and tracking project costs.
Performing SQL queries to validate manufacturing data and system integrity.
Coordinating with vendors, designers, and cross-functional teams for system improvements.
Providing project status updates to management and escalating issues as needed.
Ensuring compliance with confidentiality and data security policies.
