Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Program Director with a strong healthcare domain background to lead and execute an end-to-end assessment engagement. This role is the primary point of contact for the client and will be responsible for both strategic leadership and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate will ensure strategic alignment, scope adherence, and delivery excellence while actively engaging in project planning, problem-solving, and quality assurance.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management
  2. Act as the single point of contact for the client, managing C-level and operational stakeholders.
  3. Build strong, trust-based relationships and ensure proactive communication.
  4. Understand the client's healthcare business priorities and align delivery accordingly.
  5. Program Leadership with Hands-on Execution
  6. Lead cross-functional teams across assessment activities.
  7. Actively participate in program planning, tracking, and issue resolution.
  8. Ensure smooth collaboration between technical, business, and operational teams.
  9. Project Governance & Scope Management
  10. Define and manage project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  11. Implement governance processes and reporting structures.
  12. Ensure all activities comply with contractual scope and client expectations.
  13. Strategic Alignment & Outcome Delivery
  14. Align assessment objectives with the client's strategic healthcare goals.
  15. Identify and recommend improvements in business processes, technology, and delivery models.
  16. Drive measurable business value through effective execution.
  17. Quality Assurance & Deliverable Review
  18. Personally review key deliverables to ensure they meet quality and compliance standards.
  19. Apply healthcare industry best practices to improve delivery quality.
  20. Ensure documentation, compliance, and reporting are accurate and timely.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years in Program / Project Management with a minimum of 5 years in the Healthcare domain.
  • Proven track record in leading assessment or consulting engagements.
  • Strong leadership with hands-on involvement in delivery, planning, and problem-solving.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare processes, regulations, and technology landscapes.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills, especially with senior stakeholders.
  • PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications are an advantage.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or related field
