Description

Key Responsibilities Day 1: CNF Onboarding & Integration Lead end-to-end onboarding of 5G CNFs/VNFs onto Red Hat OpenShift, OpenStack, or hybrid cloud platforms Collaborate with CNF vendors to validate Helm charts, manifests, SR-IOV/DPU configurations, and CPU/memory affinity Define application-specific node placement policies, storage requirements (PVCs), and network interfaces (Multus, DPDK, etc.) Ensure readiness of Day 1 artefacts: configuration files, probes, secrets, TLS certs, and licensing Execute pre-production validation including performance, functional, and inter-CNF integration testing Day 2: Observability & Operational Support Define and implement monitoring dashboards, probes, and alerts aligned with CNF-specific KPIs (e.g., session count, call drops, throughput) Collaborate with NOC and SRE teams to design runbooks and remediation playbooks for common issues Identify recurring issues, RCA patterns, and suggest automation and auto-remediation opportunities Provide SME input into closed-loop assurance workflows and AI/ML-based anomaly detection models Serve as the escalation point for CNF performance degradation, failures, or upgrade issues Leadership & Collaboration Act as the technical liaison between CNF vendors, platform teams, security, and operations Lead readiness reviews, design walkthroughs, and production certification for each new CNF Contribute to the development of blueprints and best practices for future application onboarding ________________________________________

The pay range for this position is $67.00 - $67.00/hr.
