We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business/Data Analyst to support the Texas Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) in its transition to a new Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) system.
his role involves advanced business analysis, data evaluation, and project coordination to ensure successful implementation and optimization of the WIC Management Information System (MIS).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both business and data analysis, with a proven ability to work independently, manage complex tasks, and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business systems and user needs; formulate systems aligned with strategic goals.
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams (Architecture, Project Delivery, Application Sustain).
Conduct business process reengineering and identify technology solutions to improve efficiency.
Prepare solution options, risk assessments, and financial analyses (e.g., cost/benefit, ROI).
Troubleshoot system issues and develop actionable solutions.
Design and deliver training curricula; conduct formal training sessions for system modules.
