What we need:

Cetera Financial Group is currently seeking an IT Change Analyst to manage IT changes with precision, minimize risk, and keep services running seamlessly. You'll play a crucial role in Change & Release Management, deployment coordination, compliance assurance, and process optimization, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations while aligning with ITIL best practices. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced IT environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive automation and efficiency in IT Change & Release processes.

This position will have the flexibility to work a hybrid work scheduled from one our offices: Dallas TX, San Diego, CA, El Segundo, CA Shamburg IL, , Dubuque, IA and ST. Cloud, MN or Des Monies, IA.

What you will do:

  • Manage the end-to-end IT Change & Release process, ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute IT deployments, releases, and scheduled changes across various environments.
  • Perform impact analysis and risk forecasting for all pending change requests.
  • Act as an escalation point for critical change failures, ensuring incident response and rapid recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with IT Security teams to assess security risks related to IT changes.
  • Ensure rollback plans are in place and coordinate corrective actions for failed deployments.
  • Work with Development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth releases and rollback planning.
  • Manage release schedules, implementation plans, and post-release validation to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Troubleshoot deployment failures and coordinate recovery actions.
  • Ensure all change approvals and documentation are completed before release execution.
  • Communicate change & release schedules, system downtimes, and maintenance windows across IT and business teams.
  • Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are involved in decision-making.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams, vendors, and business units to align change & release strategies with business priorities.
  • Provide real-time responses to emergency change and release requests.
  • Govern and maintain the Change & Release Management system (ServiceNow), ensuring integration with Incident, Problem, and Release Management.
  • Identify and submit enhancements for ServiceNow workflows to improve automation and efficiency.
  • Participate in ServiceNow release testing and deployment as it relates to Change & Release Management functionality.
  • Monitor Change & Release KPIs, track performance, and generate regular reports for leadership.
  • Maintain and update Enterprise Change & Release documentation, training materials, and knowledge repositories.


What you need to have:

  • 4+ years of experience in IT Change Management, Release Management, or IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.


Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $90,000.00 - $100,000.00, plus competitive performance-based bonus. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.
