Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for Project Manager in Albany, NY.
Description:
Participate in all phases of system development activities: requirement gathering, design, development, testing and deployment by the following items:
? Written reports of user requirements are thorough and complete.
? Modifications adhere to prevailing standards, are thoroughly tested and completed on schedule.
? Standard migration processes across multiple environments are followed.
? Maintain system documentation including functional and detail designs.
Mandatory Qualifications:
? Plans, organizes and integrates cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact.
? Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
? 84 months experience managing teams comprising representatives from multiple organizations from development through to a complete production implementation of all software and hardware tasks.
? 84 months experience with teams comprising representatives from multiple organizations in the development through complete implementation of multi-year application development and infrastructure projects. Must have experience using industry standard tools and techniques in a Project Management role.
? 60 months experience managing multifaceted, multi-disciplinary infrastructure rollout projects in a government environment that includes utilizing standardized system life cycle methodologies, working directly with vendors and cross agency staff to implement a project.
? 84 months experience in team building, facilitation and presentation skills, and the ability to work and communicate with diverse groups.
? Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or College Level Degree in a business or technology discipline is preferred.
