Job Details

Job Duties Vistex Technical Consultant (Commissions Focus)

Short term contract Initially 15 days workshop, will go longer.


1. Technical Design & Configuration:
Participate in blueprint and solution design sessions to define Vistex technical architecture (IPT, Data Structures, Agreements, Claims, and Settlements) aligned with commission processing requirements.
2. Enhancement & Development:
Design, develop, and test Vistex-specific custom objects including extensions, BAdIs, user exits, pricing routines, and reports ensuring seamless integration with SAP SD/MM/FI modules.
3. Commissions Logic Implementation:
Translate business rules for sales commissions, incentive plans, and partner payouts into scalable Vistex configuration and custom code within Vistex IP, Agreements, and Settlements framework.
4. Interface & Data Integration:
Collaborate with integration teams to define and build data flows between S/4HANA, Vistex, and external systems (CRM, BTP, analytics platforms), using IDocs, APIs, and BAPIs.
5. Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with functional consultants to validate commission scenarios, accrual postings, and settlement logic ensuring technical designs fully support business rules.
6. Performance & Data Quality Optimization:
Analyze and improve Vistex performance, pricing engine response, and settlement job efficiency, maintaining data accuracy and reconciliation integrity.
7. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:
Prepare technical specifications, configuration guides, and test scripts; provide handover and knowledge-sharing sessions for future development and support teams.
