We have a 6+ Months contract position for a SAP ABAP Consultant with TM.

This will be a 100% remote opportunity

SAP ABAP Consultant with TM

Role Overview

An SAP ABAP Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting SAP applications using ABAP programming. The role involves working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions within the SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP/4

Develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF)

Create and enhance ALV reports, SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms

Develop and support User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements, and BADIs

Work on IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and integration with external systems

Debug and resolve technical issues in SAP programs

Optimize performance of ABAP programs

Prepare technical specifications and documentation

Support unit testing, UAT, and production deployments

Collaborate with functional teams and business users

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP

Strong experience with SAP TM (Transportation Management)

Experience with ABAP Objects (OOPs)

Knowledge of SAP Data Dictionary (Tables, Views, Structures)

Experience with Forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms)

Working knowledge of IDocs, Interfaces, and Enhancements

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Good communication and documentation skills

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

6+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant

Experience with SAP TM (Transportation Management)

SAP Certification (preferred but not mandatory)
