RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX that is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst that will develop and implement test methodologies, plans, and cases to ensure high-quality, error-free product releases. This role involves using appropriate tools, processes, and practices for functional and systems integration testing, while embedding quality standards throughout the SDLC to minimize defects and rework.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute test plans for functional and systems-integration testing
* Participate in sprint planning, user story grooming, and design walkthroughs to inject quality early in the development lifecycle
* Collaborate closely with scrum team members (Product Owners, Systems Analysts, Developers) to ensure requirements are fully understood
* Validate that business requirements are met before each release; certify releases for quality and completeness
* Assist in reviewing, analyzing, and documenting business and user requirements
* Generate periodic test reports showing metrics such as defect trends and testing progress
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
* 5+ years of QA testing experience in a web application environment (UI, Web services, Microservices, APIs, backend database components)
* 5+ years of hands-on experience writing test plans and test cases for simple to complex enhancements
* 3+ years of experience writing SQL scripts and managing defects
* 1+ year working in Scrum Agile, CI/CD environments supporting frequent deployments
* Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test scenario development, and defect management
* Prior experience with Salesforce CRM and MuleSoft/Mule (a plus)
* Strong understanding of QA tools, practices, and success measures
* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively across teams
* Technical expertise in QA processes and tools
* Experience with Salesforce CRM and MuleSoft/Mule is preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
