Position Description and Job Skill Set
  • Job Functions:


  • Create and develop test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications
  • Execute and document manual and automated tests to verify functionality, identify defects, and ensure quality
  • Perform testing for all test phases, including regression testing to validate software changes and releases
  • Manage incidents using testing tools, including prioritization, severity, and impact assessment
  • Collaborate with business owners, analysts, and vendors to validate software accuracy and project delivery
  • Review and understand project documentation to grasp project scope
  • Identify and report inconsistencies in documentation and system design
  • Facilitate testing status meetings as needed
  • Prepare and identify all test data needed for execution and coordinate data collection
  • Ensure all testers have necessary credentials and testing environments
  • Identify and report risks and issues as they arise
  • Ensure timely reporting and retesting of discovered incidents or issues
  • Support and participate in testing events, including weekend testing
  • Design automation testing scripts
  • Develop and deliver training materials


Required Skills/Experience:
  • 3+ years of testing experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail orientation and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with software methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience writing test plans and cases
