Job Details
Position: Project Manager / Power Platform Functional Consultant
Location: WestPoint, NY
Duration: Long Term
MUST HAVE: Strong background working with U.S. Department of Defense or Federal clients, preferably Army environments.
THIS IS A ONSITE ROLE AT WESTPOINT, NY. SO, NEED ONLY LOCALS TO NY, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Lead Agile project management activities including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and stakeholder engagement.
Serve as the integration point between client teams and contractor personnel to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
Act as Functional Consultant for Microsoft Power Platform implementations, gathering and analyzing business requirements from stakeholders.
Translate functional requirements into technical specifications for developers and architects.
Support migration planning for AMS to client platform, including stakeholder interviews and requirements validation.
Coordinate across technical teams to ensure compliance with client regulations and policies.
Maintain detailed project documentation including schedules, risk logs, decision registers, and stakeholder reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of Project Management experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform governance, solution management, and functional consulting.
Deep understanding of higher education business processes and accreditation requirements (preferred).
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate or similar certification.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar project management and backlog tracking tools.
Preferred Skills:
PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agile certifications.
Hands-on knowledge of Azure and Dataverse platform capabilities.
Experience supporting systems requiring compliance with STIGs, NIST, or FISMA frameworks.
